AICS Design System
Overview
Recognizing the lack of a unified design language and the inefficiencies of redundant UI development, I initiated and led the creation of the Design System from the ground up. I aligned stakeholders and resources with strategic persuasion, defined scalable design principles, designed components, and established processes that bridge design and engineering workflows.
AICS Design System is the central UI design infrastructure and interface development communication tool within our organization. Acting as the backbone for multiple healthcare information products, it consists of a Figma component library, a corresponding front-end UI kit, an interactive demo website, and comprehensive design guidelines, ensuring consistency and efficiency across teams.
As our product ecosystem evolved, I continuously optimized the usability, accessibility, and responsiveness of the system through iterative user testing and internal feedback, ensuring that the system balanced micro-level flexibility with macro-level scalability.
